The interplay between lustrous sapele and softly hand-turned hazel introduces a quiet tension between refinement and rawness, echoing the material's former life.

Built from coppiced hazel branches, the piece celebrates a material more often overlooked than treasured. Carefully selected, turned and assembled, each element retains traces of its previous life before becoming part of a new structure.

This piece was part of Milan Design Week 2026, Dropcity.

What Grows Again is a research on coppiced wood, in this case coppiced hazel, part of the Material Cultures Master in Central Saint Martens ˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀
